Methasterone

Superdrol, also known as Methasterone or methyldrostanolone, is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) first described in a scientific literature in 1956 but was never marketed for medical use. It gained popularity in the early 2000s as a supplement in the bodybuilding community due to its strong effects on muscle mass gain and strength enhancement.

Methasterone is known for its potent capabilities to increase testosterone levels, which can dramatically enhance muscle size, strength, and recovery from exercise. However, it also comes with significant risks and side effects, such as liver toxicity, cardiovascular issues, hormonal imbalances, and potential negative impacts on mental health.

In the United States, Methasterone was sold as an over-the-counter dietary supplement until 2005, when the FDA intervened and its legal status changed. It is now classified as a controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act, making its sale without a prescription illegal.
